Anther Crazy Motely Crew Episode!

Yet another quality motley crew party. I went over to Devons house after the g2g at the toci's. Then yesterday, after gospel meeting, we went to Con's house for the night. Good times. We watched a Bond movie and a 80's flick which was retarded. Fabualous times I must say. Although now i am glad to be home. :) ahhh!

Sonnet

I wrote this sonnet in my Brit Lit class in 7th grade. I kinda like it. :>

I deeply gazed into your eyes so blue
Before you left this world and me, forlorn.
Each day we met and love began anew
I r’member clear the day that you were born.

Our love did grow as morn and night we supp’d
And rounder, fatter, bigger you became
Your tender face so soft and full I cupp’d
Although you larger grew we loved the same.

Some like their girls quite tall and very lean
Not I—mine eyes delight when you are round.
I watch you strolling through the pasture green
You stand out from the crowd—my heart doth pound.

E’en in your death our love I celebrate
Prime rib, chop steak, sirloin adorn my plate.

Emily's Birthday

Yup its finally Em's bday, it has already started off crappy though... I guess it began last night, I got home from working at like 7 and took a shower. After I was all clean and warm, I got told that the chores were not done, so I had to do them. Being the crazy Loon that I am, I bravily grabbed the flashlight and dashed out in my shorts, Tee shirt, and my old meeting shoes which some know about... :P Anywho, I guess I did not get the mem that it was COLD out there! It was about 5 degrees, and as I dashed to the sheep to check the automatic troughs to see if they were frozen, I saw the bad news. The main trough was bone dry, meaning the pipes froze.

Profanity filled the still, cold night air. I emediatly forgot braving the cold in my shorts, so i ran back and yelled for Em. She came sobbing out about 10 mins later ready to help as it was her fault that it froze. She neglected to tell us that morning that it was already frozen, we proboboly coulda fixed it with a few bucxkets of hot water. But no, it had sat all day frozen and had busted the pipe.

We work for about an hour, hauling hot water and popping the side and top cover to see what was frozen. I found that the steel pipe was frozen that goes into the ground.

We came running back inside, knowing that it was far to late to start screwing around with that.


SO, that leads me to today, It is 8:00 in the morning and Em's party is coming at like 12. That is not much time to removed the trough off the concrete and find the break and fix the pipe.

Woe is me.

Yesterday

Yesterday we went boarding with some of the Motley Crew. Deven and Connor came over at like 7:30 and we got to the mountain by 9. Drew could not come, which was a bummer. At the mountain, we struggled into our gear, and got a couple runs before Devon's coat zipper broke. After trudging to the Excursion and back, we reentered the fray of flying bodies and snow.

We were on the tail end of a major storm that dumped tons of powder. It was still snowing pretty hard, but it was great!

So ya, we came home, I had a chem lab, after that I got back home and ate homemade pizza, then got on MSN and went to bed.

Recital

Yesterday was my piano/cello recital. I was pretty nervous but I got over it as soon as I got up to play, funny how that is... I always think that I should not be nervous, I have done prolly 6 or 7 of them, plus playing in group lessons etc... But i guess I will be for the rest of my musical career. I played Sulfigetto by Bach, Loure by Peirre De Paupau, and my revision of Scarborough Fair. I really did not want to play my piece, but Mommy dearest bribed me with a steak. :)
Well glad its over, and good job to Lauren and Lizzie!

Intense Day

I just got home from all day of epic crazyness.. first I went to Piano, sweated and had an emotionally draining lesson as they all are. Figgered out that i have no song for reciatal Monday, so i better get on it! After piano was cello, it was also pretty insane, as it always is. I am done with lessons till the middle of jan some time.

After music was Lit class, boring. But the after semester party was tight! We played football, tag, and wink'em or somthing like that.

Anywho, I am goign in with dad tommorow mornign to wax and detail vans... Should help with my piles of debts... :<

Another Day in Paradise

Today has been good to me... so far. We went to Culver to sell sheep, and dad ended up buying a disk cultivator, don't ask me why, then we ate at taco bell and came home. Tonight Heidi and I are going to the nutcracker, I really did nto want to go, but one of my best freinds is in it. So I will go support him and all that.

Congrats to Lauren on the ol' licence... 3 months 8 days to go! Bugga...
I am hopeing bacheler will get a lil more snow! I can't wait to tear it up!! Drew and I are planning on going a few times, and ther is a an homeschooling deal that makes it super cheap that I plan to use.

Well gotta call my home boy Connor and see what he is up to...
