Sitting at COCC

Times like these give me reason to blog. I am currently sitting in Pioneer Hall waiting for a ride because my licence is currently restricted for 90 days because I got 2 citations before I turned 18.  Now befor anyone judges me, you must realize that the first citation was a speeding ticket, while the second one was a measely stop sign infraction.  And apperently, I am as dangerous because I rolled through a stopsign, as if I got a ticket for speeding. Oh well.

Finals Week

The title says it all, finals week of winter term will be officially over for me in 2 hours.  I am sitting in the Pioneer building on COCC campus waiting for my dreamweaver class final.  Once this final is finished, I will be done with this crazy term and ready to begin spring term, which might I add will be much more crazy.

This term was really good until last week when I had to miss a bunch of classes because of my infected elbow and then on top of that I got sick, so I missed a ton of important classes. Because of this, I feel pretty rusty, and thats not a good feeling for a huge test.

Anyway, in other news, I turned 17 last sunday, I got a bunch of cool presents, including a harmonica, a sweet wallet that Mandy made out of duct tape, and some other things.

Also I am starting guitar lessons in two weeks.  In a few years I will be fluent in 4 instruments, which I think is pretty cool.  I met with my soon-to-be guitar teacher and he is a pretty neat guy.  He has a bunch of cds out and a full blown recording studio in his house.

Anyway, I am going to see if the teacher opened the class room.

Finally Got a Tractor

This week has been a busy one for me.  In addition to two mid-term exams, I signed papers on a John Deere 4240.  I have been shopping for one all winter, it is 110hp and a HUGE improvement from our 40 year old International 656. It looks like this.
Another thing that happened this week was that I got my laptop I ordered two weeks ago.  It is a dell that I designed for my web design software that I have.

Now that I sold all my hay, I have been brokering hay for people.  The first order was for about 15 tons of 1600 pound Alfalfa bales that I hauled from Bend to Sisters area.  I really like making deals and finding hay for people, sure beats Mcdonalds right?

Friday I have a small order of Oat Hay delivered from Terrebone to Sisters. The bales weigh 100 pounds so that will get be back into summer shape REAL fast.

Well last post I told you about my wreck, now I would like to tell the world that I am I proud VW beattle driver. Yes thats right, I bought a slugbug yesterday. I was originally looking for anther F-150, but I saw this bug on craigslist, the cool thing about this car is that it is a TDI, which means it has a turbo desiel engine. This means crazy good MPGs, the guy who i bought it from said he got 50 MPG hwy.

Other than the MPG and the ease of parking, this is a rather rediculous car for me. But I like it.

Kicked Off The New Year With a Bang!

So far the first two weeks of 2010 has been pretty interesting for me. If you did not hear, I totalled my truck on the 27th of december so I have been driving whatever I can get my hands on. Talk about feeling like a kid when you have to call mom for a ride home from college. Sigh.

But on a positive note, my classes are going really well, I am an official nerd I guess since I learned HTML code last week. HTML is computer coding that most websites are written in. Its pretty interesting seeing how websites that we all visit every day really work.

Dad and the girls are in Idaho visiting my grandpa and picking up my new puppy. I have not seen her besides pics but she is pretty darn cute. :) I need a puppy to go to town with me and ride around with me next summer. Lilly, my old pup, did a pretty good job of that until we lost her.
Off to get some sleep!

New Year!

We spent the new year in Seattle, I love that town. We ate at some awsome resturants on Pike avenue. One of these days I will go back and eat some more there, and sleep in the car since I will be broke after. :)

School starts again tommorow, I have a very full schedule with almost 20 credits this term if I get into my classes. I am really looking forword to it because I will have something to do, and some of the classes look like a ton of fun. Check in with me during mid-terms and my thoughts will be much less chipper about school, but that is the way it goes!
